Hello there!
Welcome to my website.
I’m Damon, I’m 27 and live in Surrey, UK.
My background is in music — I have a first-class degree in Music from the University of Plymouth. I also have professional training in music production & audio engineering.
I’ve spent multiple years lurking in the creative + online business side of the internet.
And no matter the niche, I've noticed the same challenges appearing again and again:
Being good at your work doesn't automatically make it easy to talk about.
In fact, the more experience, ideas, offers, and interests you have, the harder it can become.
I know this myself as a multipotentialite!
How I Got Here
I graduated in 2020 with no clear path to start a career (and everyone else’s plans were scuppered too 😑)
I took music production training online and decided to start freelancing as a mixing engineer, helping indie artists get their songs finished and ready to release.
I started out posting music production tips on Instagram. I got a few clients!
But I really struggled with marketing myself. It sucked!!!!
Nobody talks about how there are so many new skills to learn, and that it's gonna be a massive battle with your self-image.
The "just push through it" mentality I heard from business coaches everywhere REALLY got me down.
At the start of 2022, I created a Fiverr account on a whim. Writing blog posts in the music production niche.
This was how I discovered that I really enjoyed writing and wanted to make it my main offer 🥰
My Approach
A lot of marketing advice focuses entirely on the results. More leads and more sales just for the sake of having a visible numerical outcome. No regard for how the process felt.
But I care most about how marketing feels for the people creating it.
If the things you put out feel forced and performative, you're probably not going to enjoy maintaining them for very long.
Every person and every business is different, and I believe marketing works best when it puts you first.

I absolutely love going to the gym, and health & fitness are some of my biggest interests.
I started practicing yoga in 2020 as my “pandemic hobby”, and immediately knew it would be a lifelong practice.
I’m queer & trans, trying to be more proudly so given the current anti-LGBT climate!
I’m autistic and have experienced burnout quite a few times. I totally get what it’s like to have limited time and energy for your creativity/projects/business.
When I’m working, I almost always put on Zelda-themed background ambience videos (like this).
I love animals and I'm the proud owner of some lovely guinea pigs (see Bandit 👉).
